In 1950, we released Japan’s first domestically developed surface roughness measuring instrument. Today, this technology enables highly precise surface texture measurement for a wide range of products, from automotive parts to smartphones, LCD monitors, and semiconductors. Capable of measurements down to the nanometer (nm) scale, our technology helps ensure product quality. We also offer solutions designed for labor-saving and automated operations.

This technology measures a wide range of 3D features. These include distortion in automotive component such as pistons, cylinders, and shafts; vehicle body shapes; pitch of Shinkansen seat spacing; and ball screw leads. We are a pioneer in articulated 3D coordinate measuring machines and the only manufacturer in Japan.

We are the only manufacturer in Japan of hydraulically driven submerged cargo pumps used to unload chemical liquids such as hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid from chemical tankers at ports. In addition to pumps for transferring oil and other liquids essential to ship operations, we also have the technology to manufacture environmentally friendly pumps, including pumps for Marine Gas Oil (MGO), a low-sulfur marine fuel.

We manufacture robust pumps designed to withstand the demanding environments of infrastructure facilities, including thermal, nuclear, hydroelectric, and biomass power plants. Our pumps can transfer a wide variety of liquids and materials, including oils such as turbine oil, heavy fuel oil, and asphalt; chemical solutions such as black liquor and alkaline solutions; construction materials such as concrete and mortar; and food products such as miso and molasses.

We provide automated equipment that helps reduce labor requirements and improve food hygiene at minimal cost. Our products include tape bundling machines for packaged sausages, with a market share of over 90%, as well as side taping machines for bento packages used by a major convenience store chain. We are also exploring applications of this technology in other hygiene-related fields. For LED manufacturing, we provide LED die bonders that bond LED chips to substrates.

We specialize in high-precision deep-hole machining of metals, including drilling and machining of internal and external surfaces, as well as precision machining of helical shapes. Our machining centers enable high-precision helical machining through numerical control of complex screw profiles. In addition to automated machining, our skilled machinists have the expertise to perform intricate machining by hand.
